 Dr. Dre: 2001
 Aftermath Entertainment

Dr. Dre: 2001 Finally, the Doctor has jumped back into the game! From the group that originally spawned the term "gangster rap" (N.W.A.), comes Dr. Dre one more time with (Chronic) 2001. Another great offering from the doctor of the beats, featuring many up-and-coming rappers as well as a few who have already gained large status, such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Xzibit, and even the hilarious comedian Eddie Griffin.

After going through many problems with his former label, Death Row Records, Dr. Dre formed his own label, Aftermath Entertainment, and it looks like he may have struck gold! Mixing smooth lyrics with the phattest beats around on such tracks as "Forgot About Dre" (w/ Eminem), "Let's Get High" (w/Hittman, Kurupt & Ms. Roq), and "Fuck You" (w/ Snoop Dogg & Devin a/k/a The Dude), Dr. Dre once again has established his place on top of the rap game. If you're a fan of rap and you don't already own this one, there s something seriously wrong with ya!
